A Vice-Presidential Debate

10-01-2924 occurred the Vice-Presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz.

Up to that debate I have been admittedly skeptical of Kamela Harris choosing Tim Walz as her running mate.  I thought Josh Shapiro governor of Pennsylvania would have been a better choice.  For one it is very critical in her endeavor to win the Presidency that Kamela Harris win Pennsylvania. Further, Josh seemed much more politically savvy than Tim.

Josh would Never have quoted the Gospel of Matthew chapter 25, verse 40 of the Bible…  What you do for the least of my brethren you do for Me, this verse is part of the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, where Jesus speaks about the final judgment and emphasizes the importance of serving others.

You do not mix scripture with politics.  The hell you don’t.  If you are Tim Walz this is EXACTLY what you do, Tim Walz is his own man doing what a real man does, not afraid to be himself, comfortable in his own skin.

In my opinion this phrase itself just might be a key to the universe.  I can say this… This phrase will reverberate existentially with many voters.

JD Vance avoided answering whether he believed Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. This evasion prompted Tim Walz to remark that it was a “damning non-answer.” He pointed to the serious implications of the Capitol attack, calling it “a threat to democracy in a way that we have not seen,” and highlighted the rhetoric of violence that accompanied it, warning that such narratives could lead to further attempts to undermine legitimate electoral processes.

“America, I think you’ve got a really clear choice in this election of who’s going to honor democracy and who’s going to honor Donald Trump,” Walz said.

The savants of CNN agreed that Tim Walz made newbie mistakes during this debate.

But David Axelrod said in essence that Tim Walz did everything he had to do.

I take back all my reservations, Kamela made a great choice of Tim Walz to be her VP.

I thought also that JD Vance was condescending to Tim Walz.  He might as well have said… Gee great answer Tim but I must correct you on a couple of things,
