Doug Mills, a New York Times reporter was snapping photos at 20 frames per second. After he sent these pictures back to his office his secretary called back and said… You won’t believe this but in one of the photos was a bullet flying just beneath Donald Trump’s head!
Professional cameras having shutter speeds of up to 1/ 16000th of a second allow for freezing extremely fast action, like a bullet round in flight. In general, bullets fired from assault weapons travel at very high speeds, typically between 2,500 and 3,300 feet per second (fps), in other words 1/3300 of a second to travel 1 foot.
To capture a bullet round in midflight through a camera shutter would require just the perfect ½ of a billionth of a second.
Someday I believe this original photo might be worth millions of dollars.
